Abstract

CONSTITUTION: In a recovery device for combustion gas wherein the discharge pipe channel 12 and the recovery pipe channel 17 are equipped, the direction of flow is changed by the change valve 6, the cover 13 is fixed to the chimney part 7 of the end of the discharge pipe channel. When a dilute combustion gas (e.g., containing 10W30% CO) is retained in the pipe channel, the chimney is closed by the cover and a small amount of the gas 9 (e.g., N2, etc.) for purging is blown to the pipe channel form the inlet 8 so that the interior of the pipe channel is kept under positive pressure.
