Abstract
PURPOSE:To vary the threshold level of a threshold circuit depending on the period of an input signal, by installing a threshold level compensating circuit at a part of a feedback circuit. CONSTITUTION:The signal of the signal source 11 is applied to the charging/discharging circuit 111, and the output of the circuit 111 is applied to the inverse amplifier 20. The output of the amplifier 20 is applied to the reverse amplifier 21. In case the signal period delivered from the source 11, the output of the amplifier 21 is differentiated by the differentiating circuit 113 with a time constant smaller than the signal period. The capacitor 15 is charged by the said differentiated output, and thus the charge of the capacitor 15 is discharged with an extremely short time constant. Accordingly this effect can be ignored to the input level of the amplifier 20, and thus the threshold level almost depending on the resistances 22, 12 and 13 is given to the input signal. When the signal period of the source 11 becomes short, the time constant of the circuit 113 approximates to the signal period. As a result, the circuit 113 loses the effect of differentiation to deliver the output of the amplifier 21 as it is. Thus the charging is accelerated for the capacitor 15, and as a result the threshold level becomes high when viewed from the source 11.
