CONSTITUTION:On belt conveyor 1, liquid-crystal panel glass plate 2 with a transparent conductive film is mounted and from container 3 containing fluororesin powder 4 as an orienting agent, the orienting agent is scattered over glass plate 2. Then, glass plate 5 is sent into heating furnace 6, where orienting agent 4 is fused by heater 7. Gradually cooled glass plate 8 taken out of furnace 6 is rubbed with cloth, etc., for an orientation treatment. Thus, the stable orientation film is formed without any sanitary harm while the operator does not breathe the orienting agent powder.
