Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate the dimensional error between a high-voltage and a low- voltage electrodes and to keep discharge space uniformly, by equipping an elastic spacer between a spacer setting part put near the both end parts of the internal electrode tube of an ozonizer and an outer electrode.
CONSTITUTION: In an ozonizer having an electrode structure wherein the discharge space 3 is formed between the high-voltage and low-voltage electrode tubes 9 and 1 which are furnished concentrically, the spacer setting part 10 is formed in such a way that the diameters of the parts at the both ends of the high-voltage electrode 9 or a little inner position from the both ends are made smaller than the diameter of the discharging part, and the spacer setting part 10 is provided with the spacer 11 consisting of spiral rings made of thin steel wire. By this method, the dimensional error of the electrodes are eliminated in assembling the ozonizer, the high-voltage electrode pipe 9 is inserted smoothly into the low-voltage electrode pipe 1, and the discharge space 3 after the insertion is kept uniformly so that ozone can be formed efficiently.
