Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform pouring into a number of molds at once, by pouring simultaneously into a cavity formed by molds putting a common pouring bush on a number of vertical molds molded of green sand. CONSTITUTION:A number of vertical molds 1 molded of green sand on the base table form cavity 2 by contacting closely their molding surface to each other. Moreover, common pouring bush 3 having inlet 4 at one end of the upper surface and a number of inlets 5 at regular intervals at the lower surface, is provided on the upper surface of vertical mold 1, and each inlet 5 is communicated to each cavity 2, respectively. When the molten metal is poured into common pouring bush 3 through inlet 4 under this condition, the molten metal is poured into each cavity 2 maintaining the condition where a constant amount of molten metal is reserved in common pouring bush, and, finally, an amount of molten metal which is equal to the feeder head, is left in common pouring bush.
