Abstract
PURPOSE:To make still picture reproducing without noise and reproducing in the multiplied speed possible with a simple circuit constitution, by making direction of deflection of two bimorph plates to the applied voltage opposite to each other and by applying the same signal to them. CONSTITUTION:In the two-head helical scanning magnetic recording and reproducing device, bimorph plate X of head A is turned over and is used as bimorph plate Y of head B, and magnetisms in displacement directions for the applied voltage are opposite to each other. Head switching pulse (a) is subjected to waveform conversion by integrating circuit 13 and is amplified through amplifying circuit 14 and driving circuit 15 and has the DC cut by capacitor C, and the DC voltage is added through resistance R, and it is applied to both bimorph plates to displace both heads in the direction vertical to the track. In case of the multiplied speed, the displacement direction is made reverse through inverter 12. As a result, still picture reproducing without noise and reproducing in the multiplied speed are possilbe with a single system.
