Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain excellent regenerated signals by driving two magnetic heads by the same ring-shaped vibrator. CONSTITUTION:Two ring-shaped piezoelectric elements 3a and 3b which have electrodes 8a and 8b divided by non-conductor parts 9a and 9b positioned at an index angle of 180 deg. on sticking surfaces and head substrates 6a and 6b of magnetic heads 7a and 7b at an index angle of 180 deg. and electrodes 10a and 10b on unsticking surfaces are stuck together to form ring-shaped piezoelectric vibrator 3, which is pressure-fixed to projections 2a and 2b of head cylinder 1 by plate-shaped fitting jigs 4 and screws 5. Consequently, a magnetic-head-track-shift detection signal is inputted to a piezoelectric element driver circuit, whose output is sent out to magnetic head 7a through electrodes 11 and 12 and to magnetic head 7b through electrodes 11 and 13 to displace magnetic heads 7a and 7b, so that since both heads 7a and 7b have the same displacement characteristics, excellent reproduced signals can be obtained.
