Abstract
PURPOSE:To manufacture a head-height variable type rotary magnetic head unit with good workability by using an inflected vibrator in a semicircle ring shape with a fitted magnetic head. CONSTITUTION:Two semicircle ring-shaped vibrators 2A and 2B are stuck together with polarization direction (arrow direction) equal and electrode 8 from the sticking part of 2A and 2B and common electrode 7 obtained by making a short circuit between the 2A upper surface and 2B lower surface are both led out to form an inflected vibrator in a semicircle ring shape. To a rotary cylinder fixed to a drum motor, both terminal parts of inflected vibrators 2 and 2' mentioned above are fixed through fitting jigs 3 and 3' and magnetic heads 5 and 5' are fitted at the center parts of vibrators 2 and 2' with head substrates 4 and 4' interposed. When tracks on a magnetic head shift, a needed DC voltage is applied between electrodes 7 and 8 by a signal detecting the shift to inflect vibrators 2 and 2' at their center part, thereby correcting magnetic head 5 and 5' to fixed positions.
