Abstract

PURPOSE:To adapt a pendulum natural frequency governer for remote controlling by adjusting the natural frequency of a pendulum on the basis of the voltage and polarity of DC constant-current given to stiffness adjusting coils for widening the adjusting area of the governer without being influenced by mechanical restrictions. CONSTITUTION:When an electromagnetic spring is used for a vibration-detecting pendulum, a pair of stiffness adjusting coils 9a and 9b are arranged upon and under a movable coil 3. As the relative displacement X between each coil 3, 9a, or 9b and a magnetic circuit air gap 8 is changed, an electromagnetic constant G obtained by the sum total of products of a magnetic flux density B and a coil winding unit length dl is essentially unchanged in a movable coil 3, but changed in stiffness adjusting coils 9a and 9b differentially to each other. The natural frequency of the pendulum can be adjusted by changing the DC constant-current given to these coils 9a and 9b in the voltage and polarity.
