Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform real-time display just after release of display picture freeze, by switching two sets of memories while interlocking to each other to control write and read of sampled waveform data. CONSTITUTION:One-picture components of the digital sampling biological signal of examined object P are written onto the first memory 13 through switches 5 and 6 connected to the contact (a) side and closed switches 9 and 10, and after that, they are comprssed and read, and real-time display dependent upon up-to-date data is performed by monitor 26. When switches 5 and 6 are not connected and switches 8, 10 and 12 are closed by mode changeover switch 27 and so on, contents of memory 13 are transferred to the second memory 15 according to high-speed pulses output from write pulse generator 17. Next, switch 8 is opened, and switches 5 and 6 are connected to contacts (b) and (a) respectively, and up-to-date data is updated in memory 15, and freeze display dependent upon memory 13 is performed. Consequently, real-time display dependent upon memory 15 can be performed immediately after release of freze.
