Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the captioned board having a rough surface and improved in forming characteristic by a method wherein a wood chip to which surface active agent is added is laminated in a mat form so that it comes on the surface layer and then thermally pressurized.
CONSTITUTION: A surface active agent like higher fatty acid alkali salt, alkyl sulfonate, higher amine-haloid salt or polyethylene glycol fatty acid ester is added to a wood chip. Then, the wood chip is laminated in a mat form so that the wood chip to which the surface active agent is added comes at least on the surface layer, which is pressurized thermally at 150W190°C and 20W30kg/cm2 by means of urea resin adhesive, urea melamine resin adhesive, etc., thereby obtaining the objective particle board.
