Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of positioning a revolving seat which may change its orientation either forward or backward with a mechanical action connected with a lock lever and also to prevent variations of a sinking of the said seat due to a charge of the load by means of a pressing force of a clock cam. CONSTITUTION:A bracket 3 is installed in the center between seat supporting frames 1 fixed on a floor and the like of a vehicle. A projecting damper support 5 is installed on the backet 3 in order to support through a gum damper 4 a supporting plate 6, fitted to the under surface of a seat 7. A rotary shaft 8 fixed to the center of the supporting plate is supported at its lower end by a supporting area 9 of the bracket 3 and a disclike positioning plate 10 is fixed to the shaft 8 on the supporting area 9. A lock lever 18, swiveled by an operational lever 12 through the link levers 20, 21 or the like, is engaged and disengaged with a connection groove 10a, provided on the plate 10. Further, the clock lever 18 is linked to a lock cam 13 through a lift arm 15.
