Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of the characteristics of output sound pressure in a flat diaphragm for a speaker by making a skin material on the surface of a core material nonpermeable and the skin material of the back surface permieable and extending the back skin material to make the material as the edge of periphery. CONSTITUTION:With use of honeycomb core material 1 as a core material of flat diaphragm A, the front skin material 2 is made nonpermeable and back skin material 5 permeable. Back skin material 5 is extended to form peripheral edge part 5a and adhered it to frame B. Thus, the inside of the flat diaphragm can be prevented from enclosed status because back skin material 3 is made permeable, sound radiation from the back surface of diaphragm A is reduced and distortion is also decreased, increasing the characteristics of output sound pressure. In addition, the working process steps can be reduced because it becomes unnecessary to attach edge materials specifically to peripheral edge part 5a.
