Abstract

PURPOSE: To keep constant the output DC voltage of an amplifying transistor, by making β of the amplifying transistor match with β of the control transistor.
CONSTITUTION: Since a collector current Ic flows into the constant current transistor (TR)17, which has been constant voltage-biased by the diode 18, the collector current Ic flows into the control TR19 and the second constant voltage TR25, as well. And, the bias current of Ic is supplied to the collector of the first amplifying TR9 by operation of the second current Miller circuit 26. Also, in case when β of the control TR19 is made β0, the base current Ib of said control TR19 becomes Ib=Ic/β0, the base bias current of Ib is supplied to the base of the first amplifying TR9, too, by operation of the first current Miller circuit 20. Therefore, when β of said first amplifying TR9 is set correctly to β0, a current flowing into the base of the first amplifying TR9 through the first and second voltage dividing resistors 13, 14 and the feedback resistor 30 can be made zero, by which the DC voltage which is obtained by the emitter of the output TR15 can be kept constant.
