Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the rotation of a developing sleeve to perfectly follow up the rotation of a photosensitive drum by performing the rotation and stopping of the sleeve on the same shafts thereof. CONSTITUTION:When an actuator 32 is attracted to the position shown against the force of a spring 33 by energizing an electromagnet, the actuator 32 disengages from a controller 29, then the controller 29 rotates in an arrow direction along with the rotation of a sleeve gear Gs. By this rotation, a clutch spring 28 is contracted, and is wound on winding shafts 25, 26, so that the rotative driving force of the sleeve gear Gs is transmitted via the shaft 25, the spring 28 and the shaft 26, to a sleeve shaft 2a, by which a sleeve 2 is rotated. When the electromagnet 30 is deenergized, the actuator 32 is pushed out by the spring 33, and engages with the controller 29, by which the rotation is stopped. When the controller 29 stops, the winding force of the clutch spring 28 loosens and the winding shafts 26, 26 are disconnected, whereby the sleeve 2 is stopped.
