Abstract
PURPOSE: To facilitate both caulking work and detachment of the indentation punch without using any tool, by causing the sliding motion between the caulking punch and one of two caulking punch setting cases arranged outside of the caulking punch stopper, and by permitting the ball interposed between said two parts to go out and sink in the groove provided in the outer circum ference of said stopper.
CONSTITUTION: For fixing the indentation punch 25 and the caulking punch 26 respectively to the indentation punch pusher bar 21 and the caulking piston 20, the spring 27 and the punch 26 are fitted to outside of the punch 25, and the punch 25 is inserted into the caulking punch stopper 22. After the punch 25 contacts with the pusher bar 21, the caulking punch setting case 28 is fitted to outside of the punch 26, and the stepped part 29a of its first case 29 is pushed to contact with the punch flange 26a. Next, the case 29 is pushed by hand to the direction I; hereby, the on-off rings 35 contacts with the flange 22a, the spring 27 is compressed, and further the spring 36, 37, are compressed, and the punch 26 contacts with the stopper 22. At the same time, the ball hole 31 is located at the outside of the groove 24, and the ball sinks into the groove. Hereby, the second case 30 is moved to the direction II by the action of the spring 37, and the space 33 is eliminated and the second case 30 is locked. For detaching the punches 25, 26, the procedures are carried out reversely to the above stated order.
