Abstract

PURPOSE:To remove bad odor etc. by a method wherein some catalysts are arranged either in a discharging gas passage just before a mixing part where a combustion discharging gas fed from a combustion chamber and air fed from the interior blower fan are mixed or in the mixing part, and at the same time adsorption agents are arranged downstream of the catalysts. CONSTITUTION:The catalysts 12 are arranged upstream of a mixing part 6 and in a discharging gas passage within the combustion chamber 13 and at the same time adsorption agents 14 are arranged in the discharging gas passage downstrema of the mixing part 6. Both the fuel vapour and combusting air are flowed out of the flame hole plate 11 while their mixing degree is increased, ignited by an ignition device 10 and the combustion is initiated in the combustion chamber 13. Thus generated hot discharging gas is flowed up to the mixing part 6 through the catalysts 12 while its temperature is decreased, then the gas is mixed with air fed from the fan 4, passed through the adsorption agents 14 while its temperature is further decreased, and finally discharged out of the combustion chamber. Thereby, a temperature of the discharged gas when it is passed through the catalysts 12 and the adsorption agents 14 is the most suitable value for a removal of bad odor etc., so that a bad odor or a harmful substance may efficiently be removed.
