Abstract
PURPOSE:To detect the temperature successively and accurately by transducing the temperature into a photosignal corresponding thereto by using an optical temperature sensor, introducing the photosignal to the outside of a housing body and thereby conducting detection of the temperature. CONSTITUTION:A phase-separation bus bar as a conductor through which large current flows is covered with a housing (housing box) 3. On the phase-separation bus bar is set directly the optical temperature sensor 6 constituted by piling a plurality of birefringent crystals on one another sequentially, and the temperature of the phase-separation bus bar is thereby transduced into the photosignal corresponding thereto, then led to the outside of the housing 3 being null in potential by an output fiber 5 as an optical fiber, transmitted at a predetermined distance and transduced into a temperature signal at a central operation chamber located remotely, whereby monitoring of the temperature is conducted.
