Abstract

PURPOSE: To make the structure of a water feeding apparatus compact, by separating a piston chamber from a water feeding chamber and a water feeding port hermetically by means of a shut-off valve and a diaphragm valve arranged concentrically with the shut-off valve.
CONSTITUTION: In a valve body 1, there are formed a water feeding chamber 2 and a water feeding port 3. At the connecting part of the chamber 2 and the port 3, there is formed a valve seat 4 in which is fitted a shut-off valve 6 for opening and closing a valve port 5. By a diaphragm valve 7 disposed concentrically at the back of the shut-off valve 6, a piston chamber 9 in a valve cylinder 8 is separated hermetically from the water feeding chamber 2 and the port 3. The piston chamber 9 and the water feeding chamber 2 thus separated from each other are communicated to each other via a small water passage 10, and a water passage 13 having a pilot valve 12 that is opened and closed by a float 11 is formed in the piston chamber 9. With such an arrangement, it is enabled to make the structure of a water feeding apparatus compact.
