Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the numbers of parts and to minimize the size and weight of the titled valve and also to improve the reliability, by using a bellows having a spring fuction as the pressure receiving member. CONSTITUTION:The main body 30 of the titled valve is split into an upper body 31 and a lower body 32 and a filter chamber 34 is formed by a plate-shaped filter 33 placed between the upper and lower bodies 31 and 32. The filter chamber 34 is connected to an inlet section 35 at the bottom and a central passage 36 installed through the central part of the upper body 31 at the top. A passage 38 which is connected to an outlet section 37 at the side of the lower body 32 is opened through the upper body 31. A bellows 40 is installed so as to cover the passage 38. The bottom of the bellows 40 is fixed to the upper body 31 and a plate 42 is fixed to the movable end at the top of the bellows 40. An adjusting screw 44 having a bleed hole 43 is fitted to the plate 42. In the central passage 36 a plug 46 is installed so as to cover a small diameter passage 45a. The plug usually remains at the topmost position by the force of a spring 47. Adjustment of the set pressure is performed in such a way that the clearance between the plug 46 and the passage 45a is changed by rotating the screw 44.
