Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform excellent transfer while preventing the fixation of a toner image to a photoreceptor side, by transferring the toner image to a transfer roller side by holding temperatures of toner and a photoreceptor below the secondary dislocation point of the toner. CONSTITUTION:Photoreceptor drum 11 and pressure roller 22 are made different in peripheral speed, and the peripheral speed of transfer roller 25 during the 1st transfer is made different from that of transfer roller 25 during the 2nd transfer. Then, the pressure and nip width of transfer roller 25 and photoreceptor drum 11 during the 1st transfer are assumed to the equal to those of transfer roller 25 and pressure roller 22 during the 2nd transfer. Assuming that photoreceptor drum 11 rotates at a peripheral speed of 100mm./s and secondary dislocating point T2 of toner is 80 deg.C, the transfer temperature that the toner satisfies is about 100 deg.C in a rubber layer area. Therefore, a toner image can be transferred from photoreceptor drum 11 to transfer roller 25.
