CONSTITUTION:Audio and video carrier through a tuner and VIF amplifier are converted into audio intermediate frequency 4.5MHz component through a mixer 4, and this is amplified through an amplifier 6. The audio intermeidate frequency in this case becomes the amplitude modulation wave according to each video signal. The AM component is picked up at an AM detector 7 and gain control of audio intermediate frequency with amplitude modulation is made with the signal of an inverted AM generator 8 to obtain constant output. Thus, cross modulation distortion caused at limiter operation can not be caused.
