Abstract
PURPOSE:To remarkably increase the residual equalization operated as an automatic equalizer, by controlling the amplitude equalizer partly so that the resonance type equalizer can compensate the asymmetricity to the resonance point in the equalizing characteristics. CONSTITUTION:To a resonance type equalizer consisting of a coaxial line 11, variable resistive element 12 and varactor diode 14, a primary amplitude equalizer 24 is in cascade connection via a buffer amplifier 22 as required. Further, a PIN diode is used as the device, and the signal source 13 is connected to the control signal input terminal 26 through a signal blocking choke coil 25 to give the control voltage to the element 12. To the asymmetricity of said equalizer 22 to the resonance point for equalizing characteristics, the primary amplitude of the equalizer 24 is controlled. Thus, the equalizing residual operated as an automatic equalizer can remarkably be increased.
