Abstract
PURPOSE:To vary the attenuation amount while maintaining constant input impedance by one or several FETs as elements of attenuation-amount variable arms of a bridge T type attenuator circuit and by controlling terminals between sources and gates of FETs by the input voltage of a differential amplifier circuit. CONSTITUTION:For elements N1 and N2 of attenuation-amount varying arms of the bridge T type attenuator circuit, two FETs are used with drains D connected to sources S of opposite FETs and gates G connected in common. Output terminals 15 and 16 of the circuit using those FETs are connected to the collector of the transistor of the differential amplifier provided with constant-current supply 21 to control voltage V1 from input terminal 29, thereby varying the attenuation amounts of elements N1 and N2. Then, an input signal between signal input terminals 1 and 2 is attenuated while maintainig constant impedance characteristics so as to obtain an output signal with the attenuation amount varied between output terminals 3 and 4.
