Abstract
PURPOSE:To compensate the fluctuations in threshold level owing to temp. fluctuations by providing two time constant circuits which are driven in mutually opposite polarity directions every time when each pulse of an input signal is applied, and taking the coincided output of both time constant circuits. CONSTITUTION:The pulse signal P of about 50% duty cycle is inputted as a signal to be converted. The signal P is applied via an inverter 12 to time constant circuits 13, 14, and the outputs of both time constant circuits 13, 14 are applied to an exclusive-NOR circuit 15. Hence, the circuit 15 outputs the pulses of a fixed width determined by the time constants of the circuits 13, 14 and the threshold level of the exclusive-NOR circuit at the rise and fall of the pulse signal P. Even if the threshold level fluctuates owing to temp. fluctuations, the fluctuations in the output pulse width negate each other and therefore the output integrating these pulses in an integrating circuit 16 is compensated of the temp. fluctuations.
