PURPOSE:To easily and quickly decide whether the biological treatment of target liquid is possible or not by immersing a microbe electrode comprising combining a microbe membrane and a dissolved oxygen electrode into the target liquid and detecting the decreasing mode of the dissolved oxygen current of that time. CONSTITUTION:The microbe electrode 1 combining a microbe membrane and a dissolved oxygen electrode is inserted into the liquid in a beaker 2, and the output current of that time is amplified by an amplifier 3 and is recorded in a recorder 4. The beaker 2 is put into a thermostatic water bath 5. Standard liquid saturated with dissolved oxygen is put into the beaker 2.
