These are charged into a rotary kiln. Thereupon, the mixture is fired at temp. above the softening point of alkaline earth metal fluoride and is ground after cooling. Then, the alkaline earth metal fluoride is coated in a liquid phase state on the surface of CaO matrix and is solidified.
