Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare the titled composition having improved plasticizer retainability, high-temperature heat stability, melt fluidity, and powder fluidity, and suitable for fluidized bed dip coating, by using vinyl chloride resin powder composed of uniform spherical beads having specific micro-pores.
CONSTITUTION: (A) 100pts.wt. of vinyl chloride resin beads having uniform size smaller than 500μ in diameter, passable through a 32 mesh sieve, and having a micro-pore volume of 0.3W1.8cc/g, a micro-pore volume of ≤0.6cc/g, and the total pore volume of ≥0.85cc/g, are mixed with (B) 20W100pts.wt., pref. 25W40pts.wt. of a plasticizer, stirred with heating at a temperature below the gel temperature, and cooled. The vinyl chloride resin is pref. the one prepared by the combination of suspension polymerization and emulsion polymerization.
