Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent both generation of carbon dioxide gas and falling off of electron radio-active material during lighting, by sintering and solidifying the mixture of heatproof oxide and carbonate through irradiation of laser for the electron radio- active material covering the whole surface of an electrode body. CONSTITUTION:An electrode body 4 is formed by winding in a coil, a metal wire 3 of high melting point consisting of fine metal wire 2 made of tungsten etc. wound around a core 1 made of tungsten etc., and electron radio-active material 5 is spread through the clearance between the surface where metal wire 3 is wound and the core 1 for both metal wire 3 and fine wire 2. Electron radio-active material 5 is sintered and solidified by applying laser as a heat source to the spread film of a paste which can be produced by dissolving a mixture of heat-proof oxide such as tungsten oxide etc. and a carbonate such as barium carbonate etc. in buthyl oxide solution.
