Abstract
PURPOSE: To conduct the centrifugal dehydration as well as continuous squeezing of slurry in a short distance, by providing the rotating shaft with a screw fin located in a cylindrical body and making the construction of the cylindrical body dismountable.
CONSTITUTION: After a rotary shaft 6 is rotated, slurry is discharged through a discharging port 13 by centrifugal force to the inside space of the cylindrical body 2. Then the slurry is forcibly sent downward by rotation of a screw fin 8 and dehydrated by the centrifugal force caused by rotation of a rotary shaft 6. The slurry, after being squeezed further at the lower tapered section of a wire net 3, is discharged successively to the outside through a discharging port 11. When the wire net 3 is plugged plugging is removed by the brush 9 fitted around a tip of the fin 8, and the water jets through nozzles 15 of flushing pipes 14. After loosening a handle 19, dismounting a pushing plate 21 and removing the wire net 3 and its frame body 23, the operation for washing out the solid material deposited on the shaft 6 and fin 8, etc. can be easily conducted.
