Abstract

PURPOSE:To decrease thermal value flowing into a cryostat while facilitating extraction of a large number of output wires by a method wherein a photoconductive wave-form mode converting element is disposed adjoining to an electric path and a magnetic field generated by currents is detected when a condition of superconductive currents is read. CONSTITUTION:A circuit 4 is formed by connecting in parallel a series connection circuit 1 of a Josephson element J1 having threshold current value IJ1 and an inductance element M1 of inductance L1 and a series circuit 2 of a Josephson element J2 having threshold current value IJ2 and an inductance element M2 of inductance L2. A controlling current wire 5 and a bias current wire 3 are connected to the circuit 4, and an output wire 7 with a resistance element 6 is connected to the current wire 3. A photoconductive wave-form mode converting element 8 to which an optical fiber 9 is fitted is disposed near the output wire 7 through the resistance element 6 in such constitution, and a condition of currents flowing to the output wire 7 is monitored by means of the element 8.
