Abstract

PURPOSE: To manufacture of stabilizer master pellets of high density and high quality by impregnating polycarbonate resin pellets with specific phosphide.
CONSTITUTION: The polycarbonate resin pellets are impregnated with one kind or more of phosphide including phosphite, phosphate and phosphonate, which is liquefied at the normal temperature and generates crank in polycarbonate resin under the stress of 150kg/cm2 or less, in the ratio of about 1W5pts.wt. to 100pts.wt. of the pellets. As the aforesaid phosphide, for instance, triphenylphosphite, trimethylphosphate, dimethylphenylphosphonate or the like is used. The above-mentioned stress is measured by turning a molded polycarbonate resin plate (12.7×12.7× 3.18mm) into a circle with the radius of 786W316mm, applying the aforesaid phosphide to the part where the maximum stress is generated and leaving the same in the state for 24hr at the temperature of 23°C, finding the amount of strain allowing the crack to be generated, and then converting that into the stress by the formula.
