Abstract
PURPOSE:To surely prevent the damage of an X-ray tube, by measuring the rise in the rise in the temperature of the X-ray tube itself to indicate a critical condition on the basis of the measurement. CONSTITUTION:In every irradiation of X-rays, the anode 1b of an X-ray tube is heated to generate light. The light is applied to a photoelectric conversion means 6a through optical fibers 2a, 2a'. An output obtained from the photoelectric conversion means 6a becomes an electric signal based on the increased temperature of the anode 1b. An output from a comparison and amplification means 9 is an electric signal based on the temperature rise of a housing 1c. These signals are applied to a processor 13 through a multiplexer 11 and an A/D conversion means 12. A signal for indicating capability, to which generation of X-rays is permitted, is applied to a display means 14.
