Abstract
PURPOSE: To facilitate maintenance and inspection by detecting a fire by converting rays, which are generated on a basis of fire occurrence, to electric signals through an optical fiber.
CONSTITUTION: Infrared rays 24 generated by heat source 23 are inputted from photo detector face 30 to optical fiber 25 and are transmitted and led to receiver 26. Infrared rays led to the receiver operate processing equipment 29 through photoelectric conversion element 27 and amplifier 28. Since every room and receiver 26 are connected only by the optical fiber, no leak and induction truble are generated, and the transmission path is prevented from being unavailable due to a fire because the optical fiber stands a high temperature.
