Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a remover for impurities in polluted water, which can be used repeatedly, by adding green stone, lime, and ferrous sulfate to a material composed mainly of clayey soil powder and charcoal powder.
CONSTITUTION: A remover is obtained by mixing 50wt% clayey soil powder, 20wt% green stone powder, and 10wt% aluminum sulfate, 40wt% clayey soil powder, 20wt% charcoal powder, 20wt% lime, and 20wt% green stone, 50wt% clayey soil powder, 20wt% charcoal powder, and 30wt% lime, 40wt% clayey soil powder, 20wt% charcoal powder, 30wt% lime, and 10wt% ferrous sulfate, or 50wt% clayey soil powder, 20wt% charcoal powder, 20wt% green stone, and 10wt% alum. The remover is added to polluted water and stirred to adsorb and precipitate SS and coloring matters in the polluted water. Then, clean supernatant water is taken out, and the remover is further mixed with polluted water.
