Abstract

CONSTITUTION: Cement (e.g. Portland cement) is used as a treating agent for the waste water of pulp industry. The cement functions as a flocculating agent of such water and has high effect for promoting the growth and precipitation of flocks of activated sludge. Moreover, the precipitate is dried in the sun to a good solidified substance after aforementioned treatment.
