CONSTITUTION:In a treatment container 1, plural contact tanks 3 divided by two perforated plates facing each other in parallel at given intervals are provided. The bottom of the contact tanks 3 is designed to enable packed material to be treated to form the angle of repose throughout the depthwise direction. And, the material to be treated, formed at a repose angle, is raked off by moving reciprocally a scraper 4 provided to the bottom plate of the contact tanks 3. Shortly thereafter, the treated material falls down by gravity to form a repose angle. The treated material so raked is sent through a granule feeder 6 to a granule regenerator 7 for regeneration.
