CONSTITUTION:The light and heat sensitive recording material is made by forming on transparent substrate 1 Co(III) complex layer 2 containing a Co(III) complex, a redox couple consisting of quinone having an absorption band in 400-550nm wavelengths and a hydrogen donor, such as triethanolamine triacetate, and a chelating agent chiefly consisting of dioxim or antipyrylmethane derivatives; interlayer 3 consisting of a water-soluble resin, such as polyvinyl alcohol; color forming layer 4 consisting chiefly of an acidic salt of leuco triarylmethane and a strong acid, and hexaarylbiimidazole.
