Abstract
PURPOSE:To ventilate separately the stator and the rotor of the salient-pole electric rotary machine to elevate the cooling effect by a method wherein dashboards are laid over the gaps between the salient magnetic poles to form the outer circumference of rotor to be cylindrical, the inside of the stator frame is divided into plural chambers, and funs and coolers are provided separately. CONSTITUTION:The dashboards 23 are laid over the gaps between the head parts of the salient magnetic poles 9 of rotor to partition an air gap 10 and spaces 20 between the magnetic poles. The inside of the stator frame 20 is divided into plural chambers 22 and 25, and the motor-driven funs 15 to cool the stator and the air coolers 16 for the stator ventilation system are provided alternately. Moreover a motor-driven fun 17 to cool the rotor is provided in the stator frame 2 at the upper part of the stator core 13 and an air cooler 18 for the rotor ventilation system is provided at the lower part, and the ventilating hole is not provided in a rotor spider 4 and a rotor rim 6. Accordingly the cooling effect can be elevated even if the quantity of cooling air is reduced, and the enlargement of capacity can be attained without adopting the direct cooling system.
