Abstract
PURPOSE:To make the number of revolutions optionally adjustable through the setting of a frequency-dividing ratio by frequency-dividing of the rotary speed signal with the first frequency-dividing ratio, and at the same time, frequency-dividing of the output of a voltage control variable frequency oscillator with the second frequency-dividing ratio, then controlling the oscillation-frequency so that they may be equal. CONSTITUTION:The speed signal pulse's frequency of a capstan motor 1 for VTR, etc. is frequency-divided into 1/N by means of the first frequency divider 7. In addition, the output frequency of the voltage control variable frequency oscillator 8 is frequency-divided into 1/M by means of the second frequency-divider 9. These both outputs are applied to a comparison circuit 10 and its difference is sought and supplied to the voltage control variable frequency oscillator 8 through low-pass filter 11. After this process, its output is input to servo circuit 5, to control the electric motor 1. Consequently, it is possible to optionally adjust the electric motor 1's number of revolutions by setting the first and second frequency-dividing ratios and thus effect stable variable speed control.
