Abstract

PURPOSE:To economize the power consumption and to reduce the introducing time to a control system by obtaining a signal with a modulation means having the same period as a revolution speed signal and a duty ratio which is changed by an error signal with a reference signal and also by controlling a driving circuit with the said signal. CONSTITUTION:By corresponding detectors 8 and 12 to a rotating disc 7 connected to a motor 6, pulse signals G and B having a frequency corresponding to the respective revolution speed is obtained. Then an error voltage E0 is obtained by comparing a signal G with a reference signal H using a phase comparator 2 and it is input to a pulse width modulator 4 together with the signal B. A pulse signal P having a pulse width which is inversely proportional to the intensity of voltage of the voltage E0 is obtained and a driving circuit 5 is controlled by a signal P. As a result, when the speed is low, for instance, the period of the signal P is prolonged and the pulse width is enlarged, thereby enabling to reduce the introducing time to the servo system and improve the starting characteristic as well.
