Abstract

PURPOSE: To control the delivery of a fixed quantity depending on the magnitude of consumed electric power of a bucket wheel driving motor so that the deviation of a real delivered quantity from a setpoint is small, by detecting the magnitude of the consumed electric power.
CONSTITUTION: A delivered quantity is entered into a calculator 14 by a setting unit 11. Electric power, which is consumed by a motor 4 when a reclaimer 1 is operated and a pile is excavated by a bucket wheel 5, is detected by a power detector 9 to apply a power signal to the calculator. The swing angle of a boom 6 is detected by a swing angle detector 10 and applied to the calculator 14. The calculator computes and processes theoretical electric power for excavation and the power signal to compensate the drive of the bucket wheel 5 to an optimal moving speed.
