Abstract
PURPOSE: To make fine adjustment of oxygen concn. simple and sure and to save energy by using an electrochemically deoxidizing unit composed of a gas dispersion electrode used in a fuel cell workable at ordinary temp., an electrolytic soln. and an oxygen generating electrode.
CONSTITUTION: The concn. of O2 in chamber 1 required to control the cocn. of O2 therein is detected with galvanic type oxygen analyzer 2, and the result is sent to controller 3 as a voltage signal. When the O2 concn. is higher than the predetermined value, controller 3 works deoxidizing blower 4, whereby gas in chamber 1 is fed to deoxidizing unit 5 to remove O2 in the gas and returned to chamber 1. In case the O2 concn. in chamber 1 is much lower than the predetermined value, valve 6 is opened and air pump 7 is worked to feed air into chamber 1. On the other hand, the press. of the gas in chamber 1 is adjusted with overvoltage adjusting valve 8 and negative voltage adjusting valve 9.
