Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify structure and a circuit by automatically controlling a temperature through the heating and temperature sensing of one heating resistor with a large resistance temperature coefficient, by making use of the resistance temperature coefficient of the heating resistor.
CONSTITUTION: When the temperature of heating resistor 1 with a positive temperature coefficient is lower than a set temperature, the resistance value of heating resistor 1 is low and the balance of bridge circuit 5 is lost. As a result, a deviation output current is generated to let transistors 8 and 9 conduct. The collector current of transistor 9 is passed through gate trigger resistances 11 and 12 to obtain a gate trigger signal for thyristor 10, and consequently thyristor 10 is turned ON to supply a current to heating resistor 1, so that its temperature will rise. Once the temperature of heating resistor 1 rises, the resistance value also increases and the misbalance of bridge circuit 5 is recovering to reduce the deviation output current, so that the thyristor 10 will be cut off eventually. The temperature of heating resistor 1 is therefore held constant.
