Abstract

PURPOSE: To make the impact at the press blanking sufficiently small by providing the means of regulating the servo valve incorporated into the liquid pressure circuit of a cylinder by feeding the displacement signal and acceleration signal of slide back to a controller.
CONSTITUTION: The displacement of a slide 21 at the blanking of a hydraulic press is detected with a displacement gauge 28. On the other hand, the acceleration of the slide 21 is detected with an accelerometer 29. The both detection signals are fed back to a controller 26 to which the signal from a position setter 27 is being inputted, whereby various signals are operated. This operation regulates the servo valve 25 incorporated in the liquid pressure circuit for a hydraulic cylinder 22 and liquid pressure source 24 to position control the slide 21 and control the acceleration of the slide 21. As a result of this, the absolute values of the displacement and acceleration of the slide 21 become small and the effect of damping becomes large, thus the impact at the blanking may be reduced.
