Abstract

PURPOSE: To plan to prevent decrease of strength of connection by coating a thin film-shaped surface treating agent such as of neoprene series or the like on a sectional area of a molded product.
CONSTITUTION: A metallic mold 2 is provided near an upper peripheral end portion of a phenol form 1, formed beforehand by foaming the phenol under a condition that reinforcing fibers are contained therein, and another form 3 is formed by pouring and filling another foaming resin material (polyurethane) into inside of the metallic mold 2. Next, the metallic mold 2 is removed and peripheral portions 3A are cut and removed, then, multiple bubbles 5 opening outwardly are produced on sectional surface 3a. Subsequently, a surface treating agent 6 of neoprane series or urethane series is coated on the sectional surfaces 3a in a shape of a thin film. According to this treatment, the treating agent 6 is impregnated into the opening bubbles 5 and discharge total or a plenty of air therefrom, therefore, strength of connection, in case of pouring and foaming at side portions of surfaces to be treated later on, may be increased.
