Abstract

PURPOSE: To compensate the conversion efficiency of a semiconductor converter that drops due to the increase of the number of revolution by a system wherein a signal voltage circuit for putting out signals corresponding to the number of revolution of an AC generator and the output signals are applied to an AVR.
CONSTITUTION: The output of an AC generator 2 directly coupled with a prime mover 1 for driving a propeller is converted into AC by means of a converter 4, and converted into AC output by means of a separately excited inverter 6 by the voltage of a rotary capacitor 7. A signal voltage circuit 10 for generating signals proportional to the number of revolution is mounted to the AC generator 2, and the output is applied to an AVR3 for controlling the AC generator 2. Thus, since characteristics are raised to B from A with the increase of the number of revolution of the prime mover 1, the lowering of the efficiency of the converter 4, a converting circuit, can be compensated, and a shaft drive generation set can smootyly be operated within a wide, rotary range.
