Abstract

PURPOSE: To accomplish an accurate lining of existing pipeline including gas pipes by regulating an adhesive applied on the lining material through a slit while the material runs through the pressure vessel retaining thereof in such a manner as to check the adhesive sealed section from dripping.
CONSTITUTION: An adhesive is injected into a lining material L being applied on a reversal speed adjusting device 24. Then, the material L passes through a slit 15, runs through a pressure vessel 1 and fixed on a mouth piece 3 in a ring. Subsequently, the material proceeds turned inside out in sequence through a pipeling P with the introduction of a pressure fluid 21. Following the material L, a cord-like body is pulled in while excess adhesive is discharged. As the free end of the lining material L passes through the slit 15, a flap 18 is so oscillated that the cord-like body 29 is fitted into a cut 17 to reduce the strength of the slit 15. In this manner, finally, the lining material L is glued on the full length of the pipeline P with the cord-like body inserted therethrough. An overhang is provided at the rear of the slit 15 to prevent the dripping of the lining material, thereby checking the excessive drawing by the slit 15.
