Abstract
PURPOSE:To extremely simplify the constitution and make it inexpensive by performing the relative rotating between the electrode and the work at discharge machining purely mechanical. CONSTITUTION:The device is constituted by the main shaft 1 of the discharge machining device, the frame 3 mounted on the main shaft 1, the reciprocating body 4, the fixed rotating shaft 5, and others. The conical ring 13, which has the same tilting angel with the conical inner cylinder surface 15 of the reciprocating body 4 and contacts the inner surface of the inner cylinder 15, is rotatably supported at the midway of the eccentric rotating shaft through the radial bearing 14. This inscribed part is coincident with the sliding direction of the eccentric rotating shaft 11. With the motor 22 turns, the electrode mounting disk 26 moves along the circle with the eccentric radius e without rotating itself while maintaining the eccentric radius of a certain distance e. Thus, the embodied constitution can be extremely simple and inexpensive.
