Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable accurate flow measurement, by correcting the position error of mounting of receiver, through the change in the ultrasonic wave beam pattern emitted from the transmitter. CONSTITUTION:The output of the oscillator 17 is fed to the electrodes 16 in strip shape of the transmitter 10 at standstill of liquid. In this case, the beam pattern of ultrasonic waves from the transmitter 10 passes through the center of the transmitter 10 and is symmetrical to the line orthogonal to the axis line of the pipe 2. When the receivers 11a, 11b are shifted from the symmetrical position related to the transmitter 10, the comparator 20 produces an output, the control circuit 21 controls the delay circuit 18 to cause the beam deflection.
